Update on Sentinel-2 Level 2A products availability

With reference to our recent Update on ONDA data offer, we wish to notify our users that, as from September 2023, Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2B Level 2A products belonging to old processing baselines (< 05.00) will gradually be no longer accessible through the ONDA Catalogue.

Announcing the first steps towards ONDA 2.0

We wish to inform our users that ONDA will be soon implementing a few initial measures paving the way for the evolution of ONDA to ONDA 2.0.
In line with our commitment to play a key role in supporting the new space economy, and as part of the already announced service evolution, the forthcoming changes will represent a new way ahead in our platform's capabilities.   
As part of the transition to ONDA 2.0, we will be discontinuing the Advanced API and View services, effective from the end of July.

Update on ONDA data offer

We wish to inform our users that, starting from July 2023, the ONDA Data Access service will undergo a progressive evolution. 
In particular, the ONDA data offer will be gradually modified as follows: 

As from July 2023, online data availability will be gradually reduced from 180 to 30 days. All data with creation date older than 30 days will be stored on the ONDA Cloud Archive.

As from July 2023, Sentinel-1A and Sentinel-1B RAW historic data will no longer be available.

Sentinel-1A RAW fresh data publication will be provided with a rolling period of 3 days.

Sentinel-2 Collection-1 publication

As part of the Sentinel-2 reprocessing campaign, since 24 January 2023 ONDA has started the publication of the Copernicus Sentinel-2 Collection-1 (Level-1C and Level-2A products), which is being created over the Sentinel-2 historical archive.
All historical data from 2015 (launch of Sentinel-2A) until December 2021 are planned to be reprocessed, starting from December 2021 products, then continuing in reverse chronological order of sensing time.

Cloud Archive back to nominal performances

The incident leading to an unexpected slowdown in products restoration from the ONDA Cloud Archive, has been fixed on 27 November 2020 and the service has been restored to its nominal performances. We apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused to your activities.

Dismissal of legacy User Portal

Further to the launch of the new ONDA User Portal last 24 September, as already communicated the legacy User Portal is being dismissed today, 24 November 2020.
As from now, users will therefore only be able to access our new User Portal:

Launch of our New User Portal

As part of our continuous effort to provide our users with the best possible service, ONDA is pleased to announce the launch of our New User Portal.
The new platform will improve the service we offer to our customers by increasing usability and ease of access to information.

Access to Advanced API exclusively in Legacy mode

We wish to inform our users that as from Thursday 15 June 2020, access to products through the Advanced API (ENS - Elastic Node Server) will only be available in the “Legacy mode”, that is accessing data in their original product format – the possibility to access to products in the custom ENS format will therefore be disabled.

OpenStack API Update postponed

With reference to our recent operational news on the planned OpenStack API Update, we wish to inform our users that, due to the current exceptional circumstances and in order to ensure that every user is in the best situation to handle the change, it has been decided to postpone the end of life of the Keystone version 2.0 API.
What do users have to do?
There is no impact on those users already using Keystone version 3.0 API.
